In August 2004, I was diagnosed with a possible stroke because of bleeding in the retina of the left eye. I had gone to an ophthalmologist who immediately sent me to a retinal specialist and the retinal specialist wanted to check further with a dye test for stroke. The retinal specialist wanted me to see my cardiologist for blood work and his opinion.

Before I saw the cardiologist, Carol Okuda cleared me. Not only was I out of pain but the cardiologist could not see anything wrong and told me not to go back to either one of those doctors or do further testing. As of this time, the eye has been completely clear and pain free; the pain, fogginess and black lightening have not returned.
